Autism Speaks Launches Radio Ad Campaign Urging Ohio Legislators To Include Autism Insurance Reform Measure In State Budget

Starting Wednesday, June 10, 2009, Autism Speaks is launching a major new radio advertising campaign in support of autism insurance reform in Ohio. The ad, airing on WTVN-AM in Columbus and WTAM-AM in Cleveland, encourages Ohioans to call Ohio House Speaker Armond Budish and urge him to advocate for the inclusion of autism insurance reform in the final state budget. Budget compromise negotiations between the Ohio State House and Senate chambers are ongoing. The Ohio House included the autism insurance reform measure in its budget bill, but the State Senate removed it from its version of the bill.
