Autism Votes Call Script of the Week:

Find out your Federal Senators and House Representative by typing in your address below and then call them using the following script this week:

"Hi! My name is ____________. I am a constituent of yours and live in (City, State). I am calling to ask you to cosponsor the Autism Treatment Acceleration Act (give the appropriate bill number - Senate is S. 819 and House is H.R. 2413). This bill will require insurance companies to provide coverage of medically necessary autism treatments.  Parents of children with autism are currently going broke trying to pay for these medical teatments out-of-pocket.  Autism Speaks has begun a major ad campaign in publications this week that call on Congress to act on federal autism insurance reform. Please help by becoming a cosponsor of the Autism Treatment Acceleration Act. Thank you so much."
